Admission Notice for Undergraduate Programs 2017

Applications are invited from NEPALI citizens for the Entrance test of MBBS/BDS program under Kathmandu University

The applicants must fill and submit online application form from exam.kusms.edu.np with a copy of bank voucher worth NRs.3000/- (non-refundable), deposited at Nepal Investment Bank in the name of KUSMS Account Number: 00505030017934 not later than 4 September 2017. The amount can be deposited through any branches of Nepal Investment Bank.

Candidates who have submitted online application forms need to COLOR print their Admit Card by themselves and must bring along with ORIGINAL Copy of Citizenship Card on the day of entrance test. Candidates without their ADMIT CARD AND ORIGINAL COPY OF CITIZENSHIP will NOT be allowed to enter Examination Center

Eligibility Criteria

Completed 10+2 years of education or Intermediate of Science (I.Sc.) or equivalent, having 50% in aggregate (Grand Total) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) as main subjects and he/she should have secured not less than 50% of marks in each subject (PCB)

OR

Completed Bachelor of Science Degree, recognized by the University, with one of the following subjects viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and at least one other prescribed science subject of study up to the ancillary level and having scored not less than an overall aggregate of 50% marks, provided that such candidate shall have passed the earlier qualifying examination (10+2 or an equivalent examination) with the subjects of Biology, Physics and Chemistry.

Entrance Test: Date, Time and Venue

Date: September 16, 2017 Saturday

Time & Venue: Will be notified later in the website

Entrance test result will be published in www.kusms.edu.np and or www.dhulikhelhospital.org

The admission will be done on the basis of Merit after central counseling at Kathmandu University, School of Medical Sciences, Dhulikhel. Date of counseling and the number of seats available for the MBBS/BDS program will be notified at the time of publication of the Entrance test result.

The merit list of the successful candidate will be published on the basis of 70% of its Entrance Examination Score and 30% of Total Aggregate Score of 10+2/I.Sc./ or equivalent qualification or B.Sc. or equivalent qualification.

Note: As per Ministry of Education (MOE) directives, any successful candidates, who seek admission under MOE Scholarship in the colleges/institutions under Kathmandu University, are also eligible to apply. Those candidates will be selected by MOE as per their selection criteria.y
