Undergraduate Programs

Kathmandu University, an autonomous, not-for-profit, non-governmental, public institute dedicated to quality education calls for application for admission in Undergraduate Programs in School of Science and School of Engineering for the academic year 2019/2020. Candidates are required to appear in the Kathmandu University Common Admission Test (KUCAT), in either PCM or PCB, according to their choice of academic program. The Entrance Exam will be conducted in the mode of Computer Based Test (CBT)

BE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) Communication Power & Control BE (Mechanical Engineering) Automobile Design & Manufacturing Energy Technology Hydropower BE (Civil Engineering with specialization in Hydropower) BE (Chemical Engineering) BTech (Environmental Engineering) 10+2 level (or equivalent) with a minimum aggregate GPA of 2.4, minimum grade of C+ each in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and a minimum of grade C in remaining subjects. OR, Minimum 50% in aggregate and minimum 50% in aggregate of PCM
BE (Computer Engineering) BE (Geomatics Engineering) BSc (Computer Science) BArch (Architecture) BSc (Computational Mathematics) 10+2 level (or equivalent) with a minimum aggregate GPA of 2.4, minimum grade of C+ each in PCM or PMCs (Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science) and a minimum of grade C in remaining subjects. OR, Minimum 50% in aggregate and minimum 50% in aggregate of PCM or PMCs
BPharm (Pharmacy) BTech (Biotechnology) BSc (Environmental Science) 10+2 level (or equivalent) with a minimum aggregate GPA of 2.4, minimum grade of C+ each in PCM or PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and a minimum of grade C in remaining subjects. OR, Minimum 50% in aggregate and minimum 50% in aggregate of PCM or PCB

Admit Card for the KUCAT-CBT can be collected from KU Main Campus, Dhulikhel from July 16-24, 2019

Students who have passed Grade 11 and are awaiting Grade 12 results can also apply on a provisional basis.
